Emotional Burnout

It has been quite a bad Christmas for me, apparently Santa didn't really like me..

I've been always racing against time ever since the beginning of dec..

Time has never been enough for me..

I've been working, working and working..coz money is never enough..

as Santa decided not to grant my wish for this Christmas on tues.

I'm so tired that i really feel like taking a day off, off from everything..

and just sleep for 24 hours straight..

and recently, i felt that i'm having emotional burnout, job burnout, or whatever you call that..

i simply lost interest in everything,no motivation at all..

coz i realize too much people expect too many things from me, that i couldn't handle anymore..

maybe it's just my mind cant take it positively anymore..

even simple things like meeting up friends has been very tough on me,

coz i could hardly find time, at the rate that i'm sleeping less than 6hours everyday.

i guess some of my friends cant understand why am i THAT busy.

i cant understand too, maybe is due to my BLURness + Ultimate Suayness..

a very good example of what happened this morning,

i woke up, i wanted to do work..

and i realize that my whole folder of cropped images and buttons are all misplaced..

i took me 2 hours to get them done..goodness..

most probaly i've left it at my work place..

and i couldnt believe i never back up at home..which was quite amazing thing to do..

i specifically remember i did, coz i never cut and paste anything, i always copy and paste.

oh wellllllllllllllll................

well done, now i have to redo everything and send to customer tml morning..

which means, tonight i'm gonna sleep at 3am again, for the 5 consecutive day, and counting..

tml is another energy challenging day for me.

i just hope my blurness and suayness could just leave me alone and play somewhere else..

just leave me alone..............................

111209 - Dinner and Drink with Anna

Meet up with Anna after a long time..
Went to Canele@Raffles City for dinner and Dessert.Kate Spade had SALES!!!!with a shallow pocket..didnt manage to get anything..next time ba...


The food was so-so only lei..not as fantastic as i thought it would be..not going back for more..haha..
Baked rice with poached Eggs : ^^VV
Egg crepe with smoke salmon : ^^Vv

Makan-end and Chit-Chat-ed, until the last order prompt by the waitress..we went out to choose some cakes..and we came back.. our table was empty!!Best part is, we're not done with the dishes...........................and we already inform one of the staff that we're going out to choose some cakes..
i shouldn't had paid for the 10% service charges.........Oh well...................
Dessert was nice, but a little too sweet for me..even though i've a sweet tooth with me..
*Qin, the Pink color 一坨 behind, was the green green mini bite we had at raffles hotel.the raffles hotel one was better*
The left overs..They're just too much for me to handle.



Walked round raffles city with 90% of the shops already close,before we headed to Paulaner my favourite place so far.. other than Alley Bar..They offer good quality of beer.. i dont take beer, except for Paulaners.
its a good place to chill out, listen to the live band singing all the hits on class 95fm
at about 12plus, Qin texted.." tml meeting you 1000 at sentosa"
my reaction was"oh okie..still early.."
3 seconds later.."What?! 1000 at sentosa, i've to wake up at like 0830"omt.. i'm still at Paulaner with 3/4 cup full of beer..
quickly finished my beer, and chiong-ed home to sleep..Dont 小看 beer lei.. it hit me harder than liquor did..gosh..maybe i gulped down a little too fast..
after sending anna home@tampines..reach-ed home about 2am..knocked out within 5sec the moment i lie on bed..within the 5 secs, i still reminded myself i've to wake up at 830am............

051209 - simple sat part II 之 dinner with M3

Finally got a chance to dine at the sun with moon restaurant at wheelock place..coz other places are with long queues..after dunno 123595696231 times of walking past coz it's always full.*and also the price is steep.. sashimi for 2 @ $77SGD++ O_O*
Dine with the usual M3 group kakis..M3=Makan,Movie,Mahjong group
They have a function room that can cater to about 20 pax.with projection equipments but its about 35SGD per pax.. so you do your math..

The ramen was really good.. base was abit salty.But..what's best was the PORK~!!it really melts in the mouth..OMT~!!
But according to Steven, TheCentral offers slightly better quality..
Followed up by a dessert session at NYDC..
Not forgetting a mid night movie.


it really feels weird w/o eating good food watching midnight movie for two weeks..even my bro agreed.. gosh~ its a habit~!!

041209 - Club Med

Went for Club Med event after work..

Chiong-ed Cab to St. James Power House..

It was my virgin experience in doing event at clubs..and, it's the most difficult job till date..
With the ever changing lightings,the people,or rather the clothes they wear is forever changing too..My eyes nearly popped out hunting for them..


It's an entertaining night,one thing i like about doing events, you'll get more exposure :)
But, its quite tiring too..

Painting job is never fun..
Went over to my granny's house to help out in paintwork.gosh.. aching all over the next few days..repaint work at home has finished, except my room.40% of the room is done..no time for it..too much things in my room to move..
will have to wait for xmas long weekend i guess..
Meet up with Qin at bugis(25th) for dinner, chitchat and shop for red polo for next day's wedding event..

Food was pretty "westernized" , which i don't really know how to appreciate it..
26th - it was a disaster in the dayWent to the wedding event at Amara Sentosa in the evening
it was supposed to be a red and yellow themed wedding.but, other than the photography team,apparently not much people are in red OR yellowWhich, was good i suppose..if not i'll have a hard time hunting people.
feel good to go wedding events, can feel happiness and blissfulness =)and, got Shuai Ge(s) to see~~~~~


27th, facial at 11am.went for budget lunch and headed to theNewly opened, nothing much to walk City Square Mall @ Farrer Park
Singapore is really boring..other then Eating, its still Eating and Eating and EATING.
Ended up @ The Royals Cafe..Trying out their mini cakes..


The cakes looks "normal" size right?nope.. each cake you can finished it at 2 bites..so, we have to ration them, so that they could last us 2 hours of chit chat..

headed to AMK hub for movie..
i couldnt imagine if 2012 would happen like what it didin the movie..if 2012 is the end of the world, why study?should have fun and enjoy life =D
28th, woke up early to settle technical stuff..super tiring, with all the mess and cables, and gadgets that wont work..it is a massive headache..

Went to the 2nd wedding of the week..SUPER happening one.
Ultra casual, or perhaps i've never been to ang-mo style of wedding..
no march in, no pre-wedding album, no montage,no sitting plan(its free sitting/free standing/eat as you walk),i really wonder how people can eat,drink,talk and walk concurrently,free flow of international buffet,change of wedding gown at 10.30pm, where people are starting to leave.and the whole wedding, transforms into a "club" after 11pm.with dance floor, billiard and free flow of alcohol.
Happening right?i want to go to more wedding events, to feel their happiness =)
Poofff~~there goes my long weekend..
Looking forward to the next long weekend..

all i could do is to help her get up..

she constantly remind us to get food for ourselves..

my heart aches, to see her like this..

waiting for mum to get home, and force her to see doc..

Snow outside was pouring heavily that night , it was heavy that nothing could be seen .
Almost nothing , as white as a sheet of paper .

There was this father and son was on the way home . The dad was wearing a very thick coat which is made up with fur while the son was wearing a normal winter coat and shivering away .

Then , stranger A walked pass and said " What a dad , doesn't even give him own son the best of whatever he could . "
Upon hearing it , Dad quickly took out and gave it to the child before he catches a cold .

Stranger B walked pass and said " What a rude child he got . Left his own dad suffering in cold . "
Then again , son gave back that thick winter coat to dad . And dad said to the child " Let's suffer to coldness together since we are reaching home , son . "

Finally , stranger C walked pass , and said rudely , " How stupid can they go ? Can't one of them just put on the coat rather than both suffering ? "



Then , they knew something. Just one thing .

31st Oct, Halloween, Theory Exam, SP Birthday

Finally, this day arrived..
Music Theory Exam..Initally, i was contented with grade 3..
Since the rest is taking grade 5, i might as well chiong for grade 5,and save the grade 3 paper money for another overseas trip *wink*
After 2 months of intensive care from SP,i'm walking to the battlefield with my bro..*Literally walking from my house to PLMGPS,the examination hall*
While opposite, we saw whole bunch of red ants..Its is so striking that, everyone else walking pass was staring at the bus-stop..all of them from yuying band..taking music theory ranging from grade 1 to 3..
My bro can join in..
This was the 1st time both of us are taking exams together..in the same exam hall, feels....erm... weird..

It was at one of the so many classrooms of plmgps..and i'm the oldest there..yes.. OLDEST..
Rest of the class was Pri 6 and or younger..now.............imagine the sight of 30 people in the class..with 4 oversized kids..the scene was, awkward..parents of the kids were staring at us..
and their(the kids) speed was fast, 30mins finished an 1.5hour paper..only left the 4 over sized kid stayed till the end of 2hour paper..
Pretty happy with myself,coz my bad luck day was over..*on Friday that is, wouldn't want to recall*after much double checking, i made 4marks of careless mistake..*way better than 30marks of careless mistake on the previous night*
Went to visit egan, before heading to leisure park for dinner atAkashabu Japanese Restaurant (by Akashi)Nice Jap shabu shabu..nice sauce, nice meat..definitely going back again..It was our (Jason,Lina & Me) treat..For steven's birthday and also thank him for teaching us..on top of "theory is the 'on-top-of-my-already-busy-schedule-to-do-stuff"quoted from Steven..

Planned a little surprise for him..still can remember his facial exprience..never job hop to 川剧变脸 is a waste of his hidden talent..

21st to 25th Oct, BKK

Wee~!!Off i go.. to BKK~!!! it was my 1st overseas trip, and i'm totally excited about it =p
This trip happened like this..Jaz: "eh.. i wan to go overseas lei"Ser: " Go where?"Jaz:" KL?? BKK??"Ser: " i go check price"
1 day later..Ser:" eh, my dad say BKK safer, tickets quite cheap"Jaz:" okie, go BKK"
It's just so random~!
Before i left the office..on wed night..Edwin(Colleague):" have fun, hope to meet turbulance on the way =P "Me:
1st time being on plane..taking off was normal..30mins on the flight..
Pilot:" dear passengers, please fasten your seat belts,as we are encountering turbulence ahead"Me: " EDWIN~!!!!!"
We stayed in a small hotel..pretty amazed by the lift..coz it was the olden type, where you open the door..and you can touch the interior wall while inside the lift..*try your best to visualize*
Unpacked and slept..
'Woke up early, american breakfasted..headed to their BTS Station == Mrt in SG..Their card was the same kind we used before SG change to Ezlink..
and their Mrt == LRT in SGwas amazed by the chip,cozat 1st i thought i should be dropped into the gantry..but there isnt.. so i just tap the chip against the gantry..and it worked!


went to 四面佛 and cabbed to yawarat..nothing much to explore..okie..maybe we didnt know our way la..thats why..
Tuk-Tuked over the grand palace..for photo shoot for both lomo and digital cam..
Somehow, the structures looks kinda similar to me..

After grand palace, spent the rest of the day at MBK..ate at emporium and foot massage at night..

Cant really remember the places we went rest of the trip..All i could remember was i went to suan lom and nana night market plus rotted at platinum mall..thanks to qin's recommendation..spent 2 days there just to finish the mall..CHEAP..and every shop sells different stuff..Gotten myself alot of good bargains

Thailand also celebrates Halloween~!!Spent the last morning at Bkk for mani and pedicure..Real cheap!! 25SGD only!!
Now here is the climax of the whole trip..i bought hell load of stuff.. including a new luaggage..i cant lock my luaggage until i literately sat on it..like how dramatic when you seen them on tv..but it really worked~!!
By the time i finally fit everything into my luggage and some of Ser's Stuff..i'm almost Heng we met a good taxi driver upon landing in BKK,we "booked" him to send us to airport..He was already downstairs when we're still packing..until he dozed off..tt's how long we took..and the most amazing thing about him was, he speaks Chinese ~!
we also met a nice hotel staff whom speaks Chinese too!Right...... that's besides the most important point..
we reached the airport, checked in luggage,go through all the queues in and security checks..went for a bite thinking that it's still early..since the boarding time is 3.45pm..and it's only 2.45..
so we chiong to the boarding gate at 3.45pm, thinking we're on time..but.. when we reached there.. the gate closed..and the plane is reversing..Me: DONT TELL ME WE MISS OUR FLIGHT?!?!?!how can it frigging be? we're on time what..
Air asia personel:" sorry mdm, you cant board the plane,the gate is already closed,coz the plane's departure time is 3.45pm"
Me: "WHAT?!?!?"
Ser:" can you let us board the plane?"
Air Asia personnel:" sorry mdm, you have to wait for the next flight"
Me:"our luggage?"
Air Asia personnel:"we're unloading it now mdm, it will be on your next flight"
Me:" oh okie, thanks"

Me(suddenly): This Video's processed flashed into my mind..(thinking): dont tell me i need to do the same thing..(still thinking): WOW, this is so happening and i'm so dead..
*pulling out my phone calling my family*bro picked up..Me: " di ah, tell mum and dad i'm be reaching SG late"Bro: how come?Me:" coz.......... i missed my flight =x "Bro:" What The!?!?!?!"Me:" tell you when i reach SG, i've to see if there is anymore flight today,if not i can only go back tml morning"Bro:" WELL DONE!!"

So, we ended up waited 1.5hours at the counter for our next flight, and have to pay another 150SGD more, just to come back..*for more details, you can ask me, long story to tell.. lol*

Ser:" it's supposed to be a budget trip"Jaz:" ya.. i know....................Oh well.. what to do.. can come back can liao.."

Finally reached SG at 10pm..sunday night..thinking still got luggage to unpack..tml i'm sure gonna be a panda..
The greatest news hit us..NO LUGGAGE~!!
guess what, our luggage still in BKK..Now good loh, go home dont need to unpack liao..
*feeling damn demoralize, all my sweat and blood all in the luggage lei!!*


Heng air asia managed to find our luggage and send it to my houseon Monday night.. if not i sure dont have the mood for music theory exam..
1st time on plane..1st time miss flight..1st time go with 1 luggage come back with none..1 time people send luggage to my doorstep..best thing..it's foc..
my 1st trip is so happening..and it will be an unforgettable experience..thank you serying, for sharing our unforgettable experience.. haha..
